University Walk

Avoid this place at all cost! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 11/11/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   Lease is 21 pages long, full of illegible legal jargon that will dupe most college students. Rent is a bit high for what you get. You get a cheap room. A/C sucks. Some days it will completely ice over and your room will bake. Repairs come fast, but Cable is definately a problem. They use some NTC job out in VA. God forbid there is a T-storm. You will lose both Internet AND cable. They don't use the local Time Warner. I got lucky with some good roommates, but noise and parties are definately a problem. Parking stinks, especially if there is some sort of party at the club house. The security stinks, but they finally have a fence around the back of the complex. Thing is, it's annoying to take U.C. blvd. You have go to go the next stop light and do a U-turn so you can go to Harris Teeter, the nearest grocer. Needless to say, I didn't have a good time here.
