I have been living here for over two years. I like the new management better. The old management I would put in a maintenance request three times before it was actually fixed. My bathroom sink was broke for months and my water bill doubled. I had to act ugly with the apartment manager because I refused to pay the water bill. She claimed my sink leaking a steady stream of water wouldn't make my bill double. Crazy how it went back to normal once it was fixed! I never seen glass in my parking lot. If you stay in phase I you will that is the only area i've seen glass. Those apartments are cheaper and we all know you get what you pay for. I haven't found another apartment in Charlotte in an area better than this with as much space as this. My neighbor upstairs sounds like she's bowling all the time. I've never lived in a downstairs apartment and not had that problem though. I think people are just complaining. I don't have creatures either!

I've only heard gunshots on 3 occassions over the two years I've been here. They keep the ground looking good. I will also admit that there are a lot of bebe kids. Theyre parents are nowhere to be found. They aren't tearing up the place though they are just loud talking and ride their bikes and skateboards too close to cars. I've almost hit two kids at a time, twice! Also, I admit I don't like the dumpster problem. But they didn't remove the compactor, it was broken! They put a big dumpter in front of the compactor and thats when the trash was piling up. They do that every time it breaks and it causes a traffic problem at the mailboxes too. Another problem I noticed but I don't know is still a problem is the laundry room. I would walk in and it would smell like urine. The dryers would be pulled from the wall. I guess someone was coming in and damaging the property because they had nothing better to do. I would still recommend these apartments to someone who wants space and convience. I have never felt unsafe walking to my car.

Just 3 gunshots on 3 occassions and you don't think that's a problem??!!! Let me tell you something. I live in the complex too and I CAN NOT WAIT FOR MY LEASE TO EXPIRE. The only reason why I feel a little safe is because I pay for my own alarm system that is monitored by the police. Every time of the day and night there are hoodlands wandering around. I saw a police patrol that followed one of the residents and was questioned him at the parking lot!!! I told the manager and they said that they didn't know about it. During the last year I have seen the police minivan that says "crime scene investigation". I won't even tell my worst enemy to move here.

i said gunshots on 3 occassions I wasn't counting and yes that is ok. You get what you pay for! I've lived in places where I heard them everyday 3 times over two years is NOTHING. go move to arsley on south tryon and pay 800 for a one bedroom you might get peace there...
