I have lived here with The Village at Briarfield for close to a year now. I really like it here. I was looking to move at the end of my lease in August and yes...I have found beautiful places that I would love to call my home but the people in the office suck!! If the office personnel don't respect new people, what happens after we move in' And what happens when something goes wrong in an apt' It is crazy. If I don't buy a home, I will most definitely stay here another year. Everyone is great!! Please keep up the good work and never change.
Sincerely,
VERY HAPPY RESIDENT!

Me and my boyfriend recently became residents to V.A.B , bad mistake. The staff was so pleasant and accomodating UNTIL WE MOVED IT. The assistant resident manager is as ghetto as they come, she had mentioned that the model home was the exact same layout,EVERYTHING that our new apt. would be,since we weren't allowed to view our new apartment UNTIL MOVING DAY- we put our faith in her, and wouldn't you know, moving day came and it was MIRRORED IMAGED & the layout was backwards from the model home, THEN she had the ghettoness "surface" out of her and basically us LIARS. Overall, have horrible attitudes and really drop the act once you sign the lease.
With in the first week there was BLACK MOLD growing so rapidly is seeped through our vinyl floor, because the caucking from the back porch door wasn't done right and the water seeped into our home. IT TOOK 3 WEEKS to get it replaced, and keep in mind, black mold - ANY MOLD - put's you in physical DANGER ! They wanted to do everything the cheapest way possible in repairing it and WHILE repairing it I had my house full of Mexican's and the maintence people didn't show up when they claimed they would, so for a week I had to revolve my schedule aroung them.
As for fellow residents, MOSTLY college kids, and alot of ------- american's they drive around the complex with their radio BUMPING so loud, on the 3rd floor we can feel the vibrations.
They charge you $7.00 additional dollars a month for dumpster use, when there is only ONE dumpster, which may be convienient for the people that live in the building right next door, but I have to either walk a quarter of a mile, or put the trash bags on the back of my car and drive it over.
BEWARE of the PARKING. Within 2 DAYS of living there my boyfriend's passenger door got dented so badly the paint had chipped. People are horrible at parking, either their drunk college kids, or their idiots who take up 2 spots when parking.
The majority of the staff sucks, the grounds are always filled with fastfood trash, people must drive around the parkinglot and just throw crap out of their windows. I just don't know.
AT night there is a train that goes by every hour. YOU can deffinatley hear it loudly, it took a month to get used to .
SPEND THE EXTRA 200$ on rent somewhere where its a BETTER quality neighborhood, I wish we did, because if you want to break your lease, they charge you I believe 1500$ , 2months of rent. Its horrible.
