We are seriously considering breaking our lease and moving to S. Charlotte. At the very least, we are definitely not renewing our lease. Car break ins have started happening, the neighborhood is going downhill fast (one short block from 2 carjackings),we saw a drug deal go down in front of our apartment bldg. on a Sunday afternoon, IN THE OPEN! Parking is horrible, it's impossible to get a spot if you get home after 6:30pm. We have neighbors that make excessive noise from music to fights every night and the management does not do ANYTHING. All we get from the manager is "We'll talk to them and take care of it." B.S!!! It's supposed to be 3 strikes and you're out. We have complained 6 or 7 times about the problem only to learn that they let them renew their lease last week. There have been 3 management companies in the last year. The current management group admitted to us that the group before them allowed ANYONE in so they could fill the complex and sell it. This is the worst experience my wife and I have ever had in an apartment. My advice, LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!
