I moved here in May of 2003 and I can not tell you how much trouble Ive been through.

Just to give you an example of the drama associated with living here, there was one point (during the MANY robberies here) that I put my rent check into the mailbox with the other tenants. The next day, I (along with quite a few others) got a call from management, asking about rent. Well I explained that I dropped it in the box as I usually do. LONG story short, come to find out, someone ON STAFF had gone and cashed quite a few of the money orders/checks made out to WL but when complaints were issued to managment, what did they say' "Rent is still due." Understandably, that IS the case in business but when one of your own is doing dirt and sabbotaging your tenants money, surely you can show more compassion!

The noise wasnt as bad as some have complained. Im a pretty str8 forward, in your face type person and have knocked on peoples doors before, only to find that that ONE confrontation was all that was needed.

Management.....*sigh* I dont know if any of you were there when ------ was there. But Ive had to get references from different places and according to them (the references) ------ answered the phone and was VERY cold and callous to whomever was asking questions. Bear in mind these are regular references that she also gave out pertinent information in my application file to (she didnt VERIFY a social...she GAVE it to two of the references that were calling..she didnt VERIFY that I lived there, she gave out full address info). Anytime Ive called about a problem with maintenance, I was LUCKY to hear from them after a week (and that was after I complained maybe four times). Mailboxes were constantly broken in to. All kinds of critters both inside and outside of the apartments.

I am a female and am scared to walk to my apartment at night when I get off work b/c of the poorly lit parking and the LACK of parking. When you complain to management about the parking, they say "Oh well...buy a parking garage!" Yea RIGHT!

Needless to say, Im breaking my lease. I can NOT take this.

If you feel that you MUST live in Waterford, go to the Reserve side...not the side near the lake.
