Are You CRAZY''' STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/3/2002 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002   I lived in Waterford Lakes for over a year and it has been the worst year of my life! When I moved in everything was fine. The grounds were beautiful with flowers and willow trees and the gates left residence feeling safe and confortable. The whirlpool was nice and the workout room was very convienient. All that changed within a month of me moving in. The gates broke and have not been repaired as of yet. Excuse me, that is not entirely true. A year and a month after they broke - and after countless number of times being stopped at the gate and harrassed by maintenence asking if I had a card because the gates were going to work the next day, yea right - the exit gate now opens and shuts properly. The other gates are wide open all the time. The whirlpool broke and instead of repairing it, management decieded to turn it into a flower bed. Of course, a flower bed is much better then a whirlpool, NO!!! I'm wondering where my rent money is going. Parking is horrible. The apartments are rented out to way too many residents (ie: twenty people to a two bedroom apartment) and despite the fact that none of those people have the money for their own apartment, they certainly found the cash to each buy a car. However, not everyone of those cars will necesarily run. The same yellow LeBarren was parked outside my apartment in the same spot for several months. If you like sleeping to mariachi music being blasted into your bedroom by a caravan of cars with open doors and blasting stereos then this is the place for you. But I don't think that any sane person would like that. Maintenance is incredably slow. It often took several days to get anything done and then it was never repaired properly. Management is unresponsive to complaints and the only time anything got done was after I complained after being worked into a fury by the habitual partying outside my apartment. If you move in hear, your address will be Waterford Lakes Drive but you will swear that you live on Bourbon Street. If you value your sleep, DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!!
