Don't even think about living here!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/6/2002 Years at this apartment: 1997 - 2002   If you can read this, then chances are you do not want to live here. Having lived here for 5 years I have seen this area go from being among the best and then quickly turning into an unsafe ghetto. I agree with the negative reviews that have been posted here before mine so I won't bother repeating. I will add, however that it's not entirely the fault of Waterford Lakes that this complex has turned into the nightmare it is now. Remember, it's the people who make the community. As we all know, there has been a MASSIVE increase in the Hispanic population in Charlotte. Since they can't turn anyone away who wants to live here as long as they can pay, then there obviously isn't anything that can be done to stop it. So if you can't speak english, need government assistance to raise your litter of children, & sleep comfortably with motor cycles reving, people yelling & loud stereos cranked up at 3:00am outside you windows, then this is the place for you, amigo. Don't worry about using the dumpsters provided for trash pick-up either. Just toss your beer bottles from your balcony.
