Someone tell me how to get my security deposit back. I took pictures of how I left the place and they still took my money.

I moved out on March and I still have not received my money. When I left my apartment I took about twenty pictures of how I left the place. They charged me almost $1,000 in charges. They even charged me to paint the walls. They charged me to take out the trash when I left the apartment empty, they charged me to replace the carpet when I stayed there for four years, they charged me to pay a water bill that I paid, they charged me to clean out the diswasher (the only way that I know of to clean a dishwasher is to turn it on, but they are probably not smart enough to know that). When I moved out I took pictures of every room in that apartment. I still have not received anything from them yet about my charges. They took my whole deposit for $850 and said that I owe them about $150. I need someone to help me out and tell me what I can do because I live in Atlanta now and I don't have the time to go to court. But I might not have a choice. I heard that they have thirty days to send you something in writing about charges or a deposit. It's not like I don't have proof of how I left the apartment. Even the apartment complex where I live now said they got over on me after they saw my pictures. Someone please help me and tell me what I can do. Renee304@excite.com
I had to call them three times already since I moved out to ask what I was being charged for and to send me something in the mail. One time I was hung up on because I got mad at the charges. Then another time I called they told me that I would receive everything in the mail. That was three months ago. I guest someone is walking it over to Georgia from North Caroling because I know the mail is not that slow.

to the one that is having trouble getting their deposit back. Here is what you do...if you havent gotten it back tell them you are going to call action 9 news and if they dont budge call action 9 news. they can not charge you for all of those things its illegal and they know that. they are just trying to see how much you let them get away with.
