Every apartment including mine has mold growing around the windows and then onto the walls. The management thinks this is perfectly acceptable and told me to clean it daily with bleach. A quality window properly installed does not allow water in or condensation to form on the inside leading to mold and mildew. So don't move here unless you are comfortable with seeing and breathing in mold on a regular basis.
