I have to say, after moving back to Charlotte after 1989; I was beginning to worry and thought I wasn't going to find anythng quickly after I got a job offer to come back to the Queen City. I had several places in mind, but Wendover Glen was the first to come to mind. The area is excellent, the location was great for access to everything you needed or wanted. Shoteba, the manager was the best manager I have every had and the maintenance staff were great too!!! Your problems were fix either the same day or the next. You did not have to stay behind them. Of course, areas are going to have there problems and the few that we had; they were taken care of immediately and Shoteba was gracious enough to let you know what is going on in the area or what happen in surrounding apartments. I enjoyed my stay, and if I were to move back to NC, Charlotte would be the place and Wendover Glen would be the place. The townhomes were small but for one person as myself, I adjusted. Highly recommended

my daughter has moved into these apts. her first day she was greeted by roaches: while moving in.. the mgmt let her know that the problem would be taken care of the next day.My daughter is a college student working to help her mother pay for her tuition at a prestigious college in NC. i hardly think that moving into a "roach motel" is sanitary for anyone. Please check thoroughly on any multi-family living quarters. Mgmt should have a more thorough cleaning and sanitation staff...I never realized that bugs like roaches were up in NC..always thought they were a "southern discomfort". As apt living goes, I understand. But, I also hope and pray that each rental property would think to themselves..." would i live in a place like this"?..and don't expect future tenants to live that way either.. I thank whomever for letting me voice my opinion and it is only my opinion based on my past experience with apt living..
