I have been at Whitehall for almost a year and will happily renew my lease in a month. Overall, this complex is quiet and quaint. It is very conveniently located, both to shopping centers, highways and uptown. My only complaint is that the staff was very friendly when I was a prospective tenant, but once I signed my lease, they have treated me like an annoyance on the few occasions that problems have arisen (nonetheless, the problems were solved).
The lack of security gates concerned me at the beginning, but I have not had any personal security/safety issues.
Only 2 warnings:
1. The pool is not gated off from the public, so people from the surrounding areas show up frequently and crowd the pool.
2. Hot water runs out before the tub is full.
