Willow Ridge was recently acquired by PRG Mgmt from Phila., PA. That staff in the front office is sometimes moody, depending upon who you work with. Most of the time, if your apartment is clean when you leave, you may get your deposit back.

The maintenance staff is usually very good. They are all relatively new. The housekeeping or cleanliness upon move in is usually average to below. The maintenance staff is sometimes overwhelmed and may make multiple trips to your apt. to fix things. But if you lean on the front ofice, you can normally get your way!

This complex is about 18 years old and wa originally a Trammel Crow Property in its hayday. The lighting can sometime be problematic at night. There have been numerous break ins especially on the back end and in what they call "Mexicoville." The complex is 456 units and some are good and some are bad! The city is actually Pineville, not Charlotte, but in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System. There is really one tennis court that is never used. The other court is used by soccer players as a soccer cage. The pools and whirlpool are generally good. The 2 wading pools are not swiming pools and STAY CLEAR of renting anything in the 10309 building. They have had mold problems and some major roof and water leaks. I mean major!

The garbage often piles up... Since the community is not gated, oftentimes contractors throw their gargabe in the dumpsters. There are two good officers that live on site.

Also, MAKE SURE that you walk the EXACT apartment that YOU rent before you sign ANYTHING! Many communities including this one, will show you a model and then rent /lease to you the APT. from HELL! You also must pay water hear and it averages about $9 per single per building. I have seen it as high as $25 per single per building. REMEMBER about the floods, that I talked about. WHO do you think pays that BILL' The company or U' The fitness centre is now semi secure with the rental office now issuing keys, its self locking! Business Centre-- what business centre... French doors' Okay, maybe at the clubhouse and Fitness centre only. You have a regular glass door on your porch or patio that normaly does not have akey that works... So, ask for a single key for your double deadbolt and a security strike plate with a hotel bar lock for your own safety and piece/peace of mind!
