Willow Ridge is getting slammed for nothing

I have been living at Willow Ridge for approximately 10 months. I was browsing the internet and came across this site and was very disappointed as to how crass people are in regards to this community. I have seen many changes in the last several months that have been long over due. I believe that things have improved due to the new staff in the office. A few examples: When I moved in the breezways were a mess and have since been pressure washed. The front entry has just been newly remodeled and looks great! They recently changed all of the front door locks to make their maintenance staff more efficient...It also was nice to know that a brand new lock was put on my apartment..I wondered if the old staff ever changed the lock from the previous tenant..Also they have taken over water billing which is wonderful..before it was a nightmare every month dealing with Vitara. Water is now included in our rent. I have seen a differnt mentality with the management in the office. They take their jobs seriously and put a lot of hard work and commitment into this property. They do tend to be "strict" concerning rules and regulations but I know that in the long run it is for our own good. They are trying to turn this property around and make it a great place to live. I respect and admire that. Just a side note...I was here during the fire..I have never seen a staff, both maintenance and management, work harder to accomodate and secure the residents who were affected by the fire. They worked around the clock...I know because I work late and get up early and they were always there!!! The people who stated they lost everything in the fire due to the negligence of management probably did not have renter's insurance..and who's fault is that?????? I am proud to call Willow Ridge my home and I plan on staying for as long as I am in Charlotte...They should call the "complaint forum for whiners and b***hers"...get a life..
