My one year lease just ended and I have been able to move out of Willow Ridge (thank goodness!!). The monthly rent was lower than other apartments and the model that I saw before I signed the lease looked good so I moved there but beware b/c you get what you pay for when you move to WR (actually you get much less). I experienced almost every problem mentioned by other WR tenants. There were roaches so I had to set out baits after I moved in, the mold problem is horrendous, repairs are either substandard or not done at all, WR management staff are awful to try to work with and are experts at the brush-off. The apartments are not maintained at all. The landscaping around my apartment was awful. (I lived in the back of the apartment complex away from new prospects view so I guess management didn't care about trying to maintain that area) The paint job both the outside and inside of the apartment were awful. The inside cabinets were warped due to all the moisture. The frig and stove were both antiques that should have been put down years ago. I came home to find my first floor master bedroom flooded twice during my one year lease. The first time it happened I was told the outside drain that caused the flooding had been fixed but it happened again just a few weeks later and I came home to find my wooden bedroom set sitting in water again. People, I could go on and on... Do not move to Willow Ridge but if you do decide to move in be sure to look at the exact apartment you'll be moving into (not just a model) before signing on the dotted line.
