Willow Ridge

I guess the old adage, "you get what you pay for", is definately applicable to my experience at Willow Ridge. While the rent is probably one of the cheapest in town, the service and integrity of the apartment complex are non-existant. I have currently worked on trying to resolve numerous maintenance issues with little to no resolution. I guess the apartment staff does not worry about water damage to the apartment complex nor about conserving water from excessive leaks. I feel as if I have undergone Chinese water torture in my attempts to fix a problem that still is not resolved (as the soundtrack of a leaky toilet that is constantly letting water drain plays in the backround). A tip to Willow Ridge, get your maintenance staff to fix the problem on the first attempt instead of the seventh. It will probably save you money and time for other issues. However, the seventh attempt is being generous. I still have issues pending for repair for about a month. At times it takes the Maintenance staff up to a week to even show up to evaluate a problem. The maintenance staff appears to not speak with the office staff taking your maintenance call. Therefore, the maintenance staff arrives to fix the problem without really knowing what the issue is or that it has been an ongoing issue.
Additionally we had an issue occur on the sixth attempt to fix a maintenance issue. My bedroom door was closed and the maintenance worker entered my bedroom to awaken my wife, who works nights, to tell her that the issue was non existant. My wife after a startling awakening told the maintenance worker the issue. As expected the issue was not fixed. Therefore, if you do not mind the maintenance staff entering your apartment at any time without knocking, invading your privacy and waking you up from your sleep if you work nights or like to sleep in, sign your lease. Once I informed the manager of the invasion, she took all of 30 seconds to apologize and get off the phone. Apparently, they do not view entering your bedroom to wake you up as wrong?
A good note for willow ridge is their location. They have just about any store within a 5 mile radius and a good hospital within walking distance. I have also had good luck with neighbors.
Therefore, I advise anyone who is seriously contemplating a move to willow ridge to seriously deliberate the pros and cons listed in this letter and the others listed.
Just to let you know, I pay my rent using their auto-draft, so I am not someone who is delinquent in paying their rent. Additionlly, the staff are super friendly to your face. However, when it comes to action, they are non-existant.
