I have lived here for 2 years, and while it wasn't perfect 2 years ago, the place has deteriorated badly. Loud stereos in the parking lot at all hours, trash overflowing everywhere, litter throughout the grounds, serious pest problems, and a management staff that seems to be totally unaware of what's going on in the complex all have contributed to my decision to move. Maintenance is horrible; expect to wait a few days for any repair, and then to have maintenance back a couple of more times before they get the repair made correctly. In recent months, drug deals are being made openly in the parking lots, and I have no feeling of safety at all for my family. Yes, the rent is relatively low, and yes, the washer and dryer are included. However, this does not make up for having to worry about what might happen between the door and the dumpster when one takes out the trash.

Jeez ... I found an ad on Craigslist and decided 2 check it out. I'm planning 2 move from SE, DC and, I don't have that much 2 worry about when I step outside my door! I'll keep looking ... thanks 4 the review.

You know, I really think it depends on your perception of things. If you expect them to show up with cranes, forklifts, and engineers to fix your sink when it drip, drip, drips.... I think you seriously need to re-evaluate how business operates. I live here now and don't have any of the problems you're talking about. In the first 5 months I lived here, I put in a grand total of 1 maintenance request. And it was for my ice maker.
