I lived in Yorkridge for one year with my best friend. We had a two bedroom apartment. I LOVED the apartment set up, we had a wonderful view and I thought originally the staff was great too! After living there for six months we realized our Air Conditioner wasnt working very well. We called in for it to be fixed and a month later we decided to change the 30 DAY air filter ourselves. It hadn't been changed since we moved in. Six months of dirt on a 30 day filter is DISGUSTING. Also my car was broken into and later stolen from the parking lot at the aparments. The staff did nothing about it, a notice wasn't even passed out to residents. We also ended up having a problem with the staff after moving out. I would not recommend Yorkridge to any of my friends.

We are very sorry you had a bad experience while living here during 2004-2005. Many things have changed since you vacated. We have a new manager, and with our new manager things have improved. We have added many new features to our community. We have a 24 hour on call Courtesy Officer, who is committed to walking the property. Also most of our staff lives here and we walk the community daily and nightly. The maintenance staff has changed and are very responsive to repairs, and are doing preventive maintenance in all phases. Please visit the new and improved York Ridge, and hopefully you will not feel the way you do about us.

Cars are still getting broken into and management has not done anything about it, all they did is add new landscaping, I think a gate would have been Better to keep thieves away..
