I was waiting to get into a one bedroom apartment at York Ridge. I got a phone call from them at 11am to tell me that they had one come open in the floor plan I wanted. I confirmed that the application fee was $50 and had to be in a Money Order because they don't take personal checks. When I arrived at 3pm to fill out the application I was told that they had already rented out that apartment. Not only was this unprofessional on their part, but a major inconvenience to me because I currently live on the other side of town and I also lost out on the cost of the Money Order. If this is any indication of the type of service you get from the staff at York Ridge, I will NEVER live there!!

You have to move fast to get a great place to live - just about everyone knows that. This is a very desirable complex and I'm sure the competition can be fierce. Not moving fast enough is no reason to give a place a bad review.

I am the assistant manager here (Catrina) and as a response to this review, when we have something come available that was not projected to come available yes we do call EVERYONE that we have turned away that gave us any info on them, name phone number etc. This way if any of those people are still interested they can come do the paperwork and the apartment is theirs as long as they qualify. All of our apartments are on a first come first serve basis. We can not really hold an apartment for any one due to the fact that some poeple say they will come later and never show up resulting in us turning more people away again. I am truely sorry that this has happened to you but you can take your money order back where you purchased it and get a full refund. York Ridge staff is ranked one of the best by our vendors and residents, I hope that you would keep us in mind in your next serch for apartments.
