Good Experience

I lived at Amelia Village for one year and had a great experience. There are only one or two similar apartment complexes in the area so I didn't feel I had much of a choice in renting, but I ended up pleasantly surprised.
The ladies in the office were always helpful and courteous. Maintenance requests were resolved quickly, and the grounds are kept up very well. I was very grateful for the available dog run, which was a great place to take my lab to get some energy out. I always felt safe in the area, even as a single woman living alone.
I agree with the posting complaining about the speed bumps. It seems silly, but the speed bumps are severe and living in the back of the complex exacerbates the frustration! I wasn't comfortable going over 7-8 mph while going over them, and it would take forever to get home even after getting into the complex! I support enforcing the speed limit, but it seems speed tables or some other kind of speed bump could have achieved the same results without causing so much wear and tear on my car.
I recently had to move to a new city, and was constantly frustrated trying to find a well-reviewed apartment complex. I feel so fortunate that I had such a great experience and such a great management team to work with! Thanks Amelia Village!
