I lived at Morgan Place for a year . . . and it is the worst place I have ever had the misfortune to live at. There are drugs every where, knife fights, fist fights, police being called onto the premises at all hours. You are not safe here and neither or children or visitors!

I heard of a number of residents that had water damage issues from the air conditioning units. The owners solution was to bring in machines to dry the carpet out but which left mold and mildew growing in scores. And of course heaven forbid that maintenance came when you were gone because you would find this filthy water that was sucked up by a giant vaccum splattered every where that they passed when the were emptying it or carrying it out of the apartment.

There are ZERO ammenities at this place. The "laundry room" consists of 2 filthy washers and dryers. The pool is small and not kept up. The childrens playground is an accident looking for a place to happen, as the equipment is literally falling apart.

If you have asthma or allergies, you had better steer clear of the office as the smoke is so thick it will make you think you just walked into a bar. If you have a complaint or concern, you often get a deer in the headlights look from the owner as if she hasn't understood a word you say.

It seems as if everyone there is paying a different amount of rent. I suppose that is because it must be a government housing property and the lower income people get reduced rent.

Basically, if you can afford a decent place to live, keep looking! If you are low income and cannot afford anything else, be aware of the dangers before moving in and keep a vigilant eye on yourself, your children, and your property.

So you think I am Beth? Get a grip! Beth paid me nothing and as far as I know is not even aware of this post. Why, when someone posts negative things, do people take it as gospel. Yet when someone posts an honest opinion, you want to make it sound like a lie. Nothing is perfect! And as an older individual I have come to learn that life and situations are often what you make of them. When you look for the negative you will certainly find it. Yet if you look for the positive and approach the negative with a positive attitude, you can often turn a negative into a positive. I do find it interesting that although I posted this with my user name, you posted your response anonymously.
