I moved into Caralea Valley in July, 2005. I lived there for two years exactly. I loved it! The negative reviews of Caralea Valley are a bit harsh...
I never had any problems with anything or anyone. I do agree that the walls are very thin and at times you can hear your neighbors in the next apartment, but isn't that everywhere' At some point you will hear your neighbors wherever you live! The grounds are very well kept. The management staff has always been pleasant and helpful. The property manager, Sharon, is very strict but she needs to be. Cut her a break..... She is very fair and listens to feedback! Rules are rules.....that's fair isn't it' I have always had very pleasant interractions with her. I think she is great! Her staff is very nice as well. The maintenance team is always friendly and smiling also! I had a problem with my a/c when I first moved in and it was fixed within 1 hour.... at midnight! Everyone has always been professional and treated me well. Any concerns that anyone may have....direct them to the staff...I guarantee you that you will feel supported. The Townhomes and apartments are clean and I never had an "ant or roach" problem! I always felt safe living there....it is a good community and the streets have many lights on them....
Assigned parking is awesome also and it is strictly enforced as well. The fitness center is kept clean. The pool, yes a bit small, does what it is supposed to do....cool you off and you can relax in the sun without a million people surrounding you. The laundry facility is very well kept also.
I have spoken to many of the residents over the two years I was there and I never heard anything negative about Caralea Valley. They all said how great and attentive the staff was to any concerns and/or needs.
I loved it there so much that I am moving back next month! Hopefully within a year I can buy a house....but right now Caralea Valley fits my needs!

Lucky you. The red ants are a huge problem in the first three or four buildings, half the street lights are almost always off, people often smash bottles on the ground and they'll stay there for weeks on end until myself or another annoyed person cleans it up. Found another person who had a mold problem.

wow, i guess the staff at caralea valley had a little too much time on their hands in the office by posting this review. maybe they should worry about renting all the vacant apartments/townhouses they have all around the community....
