Heatherwood/Kensington is now Heatherwood/Crestview. They are actually two seperate communities run by the same office. The office is in Crestview which has 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. Heatherwood is only 1 bedrooms. I live in Heatherwood. I moved in July 08. There are no washer/dryer hookups in these apts so be prepared to use the laundry facility on-site, which I dont recommend. There is a brand new laundry a minute away. Crestview has hookups in the 2 bedrooms.The units are small. There is no door to the bedroom but enough privacy with the wall. There are sliding glass doors in the bedrooms. The kitchen/bathroom and entrance have wood like flooring. Paint is a neutral light color. Ceiling fans in living/diningand bedroom. Updated light fixtures. My onl complaint is the parking lot. It desperately eeds re-paving. Driving into the complex there is virtually no way to avoid the pot holes. I started complaining when I moved in and it is now Jan 09. Still no repairs. I had problems with loud neighbors. I complained and about 4 units have been evicted. This is proabably because of not paying rent more-so then my complaints. The rent is cheap and the location is convenient. I will not re-new my lease because I need more space but if you need an affordabe place I would recommend. I suggest a 6 month lease just in case.
