I have lived at locke Mill for almost 4 years. During this time there has been 3 different management companies. I was fine with the 1st company even though they were out of state because they had on-site staff that was really great. The second management company to take over was a local guy who seemed genuine, he had crappy maintenance at first but rumors were floating that he was fired for harrassing female residents, then a new guy who lived at the property was hired, he was great and had a wonderful personality. We even had interactions with him and his family at the pool. That was short lived because another company, Redman Properties who is currently managing it for whatever reason decided to let him go too. Let me also mention that the latest management company also let the prior leasing agent and property manager go shortly after they took over. That was a huge mistake. Now that they are managing the maintenance completely sucks, Im still waiting to have work completed that was requested 3 months ago, as the previous person's review states, they go into your apartment without consent, rummage through your belongings, change locks without legal rights, everyone seems to be leaving, there are more vacant apartments here now then I have ever seen in my 4 years, notices are put on doors almost daily, children have to live like they are in prison, we cannot walk our dogs without being harrassed by the courtesy officer, the walls are thin, which maybe cannot be control due to the building itself but when you call the office to complain about the noise nothing is done. There are 2 courtesy officers that live here but never seem to do anything and are very rarely around. One of the officers makes it his mission to sterotype and harrass certain residents based on their appearances. I've talked to some of the residents here who are buying thier apartments who say its changed so much over the last 6 months and wish they would have sold their place or never bought it if they knew it was going to be like this. I really used to love it here but honestly I am actively looking to move somewhere else as soon as my lease is up. Because I am a responsible person I don't intend to break my lease because I do not want to take the chance of getting a bad reference from Redman Properties, but if things continue to get worse it may come to that. I've been up to the Redmans office to pay my rent and they are unproffesional, even though they have all these "licenses" hanging up on thier walls, their children were running around in the office, i've heard discussion about other residents while I was in their office, which I would think is a privacy violation, and the list could go on......I would seriously consider another community over this one.

I'm the manager of some of the units here at Locke Mill Plaza. We were brought in by the owners and board of directors of the building to make some much needed changes/improvements. This being said all of the previous staff were terminated causing some disharmony. If the person who wrote this review would bring their concerns forward to Redman Properties, Inc we will be more than happy to take care of these issue.
