a little give and take

The good news is...Great office staff and maintenence. Even though there is only one maintenence man, he's on top of EVERYTHING - came to fix a couple things on Sunday. Grounds kept very nice. The trash people let the dumpsters overflow sometimes which is nasty because all you can smell is trash. (Not apartments fault). I am a female who feels VERY safe walking into my apartment at night. Since I've been here I've never heard of any break-ins or bad stuff happening. The rent is very reasonable.
The bad news is...
SMALL SMALL SMALL apartments. I'm in a one bedroom and the kitchen is so small that if I turn around at one counter I'm at the other. The buildings are kind of old you are going to have things break. Parking sucks usually. I come home on weekends and people have friends over who park in the lower part of the lot in front of my building forcing me to park at the top lot or even in front of another building. Drives me NUTS! You have to pay an outrageous fee for your pets ($400 for a dog/$200 for a cat) and then you have to pay $15 a month for each animal you have. The utilities go through the City of COncord and they are WAY overpriced. My electric bill over the summer was $120 for the one bedroom - I was always away from my apartment and never kept the air below 75 degrees.
