I have been living at the cloisters for the last 2 years. As soon as my lease is up this year, I'm getting out. There are several issues that need to be addressed with this apartment complex:
1. The rent that they are asking for is truly expensive. I live in a 2 bedroom 2 bath right now, and with the amenities that are offered (almost none!) it is not worth the $700 I'm paying in rent. I actually found an apartment just down the street that is offering a 3 bedroom 2 bath (1400 sq. ft.) for $720!
2. The office staff goes in and out like tenants.
3. My apartment building at this time has four empty apartments. It doesn't keep tenants very easily.
4. I am afraid to walk into my home at night and make my fiance walk with me. Weird stuff goes on and sometimes police come out.
I do not recommend this to anyone but single men/women, or couples without children. This is defiantly not a family community! And if you are OK with paying high amounts of rent than go for it. Otherwise, my suggestion is you can DEFIANTLY find something better and something cheaper!

Would be as bold to tell me which apartment building you live in? I live in 755 and there has been numerous times that I have seen and heard a burgundy car driving around in the middle of the night (12am-2am) leaning his horn. Guys walk around also in the middle of the night, and just two weeks ago an officer came to our door looking for a gentleman, asked everyone in our building if they knew who this guy was, and than towed his car due to charges he could not discuss.
Why do you think we are leaving?

I could not disagree more with the above statement. I am a single parent and i find this a very safe area having moved out a charlotte. The price is reasonable for the area and anything less in concord would be the hood.
