I think the people that are giving this place a bad rep are spoiled. Yes every apartment can improve on some things and no place is perfect. I lived in some other places that would make the cloisters look like the taj mahal, and yes i am from Philly also which is why i think most of the bad reviews are from spolied people who had muffy serve them their porage with a silver spoon. The main thing is they are very resonable on rent (not $800 for 2bedroom as some chick suggested in her review), and they don't have rodents, roaches...Its in the country so you are going to see strange bugs. They apartment appliances aren't old they're very clean and the apartments arespacious. It has the feel of a community and has sidewalks where kids don't have to just run out in the street. I hear police cars sometimes at night and fire trucks but the cloisters is off of 29 near walmart and speedway c'mon now. The best way to judge this for yourself is to check it out yourself, most of these reviews are biased anyway.

Yes, I agree with you and I am one that wrote a review a year ago. Please keep in mind that the management there is wonderful NOW. It took awhile to get that way and that can make a world of difference. I have a relative that has lived there for 5 years and I lived there one a year and a half and saw four sets of management teams come and go. The apartments are decent in size, with nice patios and sidewalks for walking, close in proximity to stores and restaurants, and price is a tiny bit higher than some other places. But management is awesome now and that in the end can make or break a place.

I still think that place sucks. We lived there back in 08 and my husband worked for the company on the maint. side. My engagement ring was stolen from someone he worked with, and then they wouldnt let the guy go even after we called the police and got my ring back from his wife ! Yes nice apartments, big , and rent was reasonable. But the kids couldnt play in the playground area b/c in the back was where they had all the problems, and where the older kids hung out. Plus they had thieves who worked for them and girls in the office carrying on extramarital affairs with other people
