This winter several heating/air conditioning units have broken in this complex. According to management the "compressors" in them have broke. This results in a constant banging noise lasting anywhere between 1 to 20 minutes. Very similar to someone hitting a hammer against the side of your house. These heater / air conditioning units are directly under the bed room widows. They have woken my fiancee, my daughter and myself almost every night in the last two months. I have complained four time pervious to today. Today I was finally told that the problem will not be fixed. It will cost more to fix the heater / air conditioners than it would to replace them. Therefore they will not be replaced until they stop running. In my opinion, this make management -------s. I called a local repair man after hearing this from Waters Edge management. The repair man explained to me that the compressors will last for a long time even if they are not working properly. Fantastic...

I don't see how they can do this to you. It seems like it would be against the law or something. I hope that you don't have to suffer too long. I am counting down the days until my lease is up. This place and the management SUCKS!!
