I have live in apartments for years, but never like Carrington Park. You will pay a whole bunch of money to be disturbed by your neighbors, listen to loud stereos like it's the ghetto, step in dog poop and watch the scum walk by. I don't think the office does an actual background check, I have found a few tenants that have records, and not for petty crimes. If you have a problem, they will blow smoke up your butt and not enforce their own lease rules. DON'T LIVE HERE!!

I am the manager here at Carrington Park and I am terribly sorry that you feel so strongly about your situation. I spoke with you today and numerous times before. I feel like I have given you numerous options to help you be happy. (1) Transfer to the same 1x1 at the same price and waive $250 off the 1st full month for moving cost. (2) Transfer to a 2x2 at a very good rate. (3) Break your lease by giving a 60 day notice and pay until the end of your lease or until your apartment is re-rented whichever occurs first. Section 16 of the North Carolina Lease agreement that you signed states that we are not responsible for any noises that your neighbors make. We feel at Carrington Park that we have tried to come to a resolution with both you and your neighbor, but no one is giving and it puts the office staff in a very difficult position. As far as dog poop we try to watch everyone and call out people when we catch them. We also have a groundskeeper on staff who tries to keep up with the problem as well. And as far as the background check, we do run this on everyone. Anyone who qualifies for an apartment can live here. And everyone undergoes the same background checks, rental history, credit check, employment history, etc. I am very sorry you feel as though we have not tried to help you or if we have been unfair to anyone by any means.
