If you are looking at renting at One Norman Square apartments, please read this before signing a lease.

Good:
Very convenient! There is a Harris Teeter, Starbucks, Blockbuster, Sushi place, and much more very close by. (The main reason I rented here)
Pool & tennis court. (I don't use)

Bad:
VERY Noisy! The kids that live in the apt. complex are extremely loud! They swear like sailors. One was walking around with a bullhorn the other day. The neighbors are noisy too. If you enjoy peace and quiet, this is not the place for you.
Construction of apts. leaves a lot to be desired. Entrance doors have big gaps that you can see into the apt. through. The apts. aren't insulated well at all, as regards sound or heat. Studs are randomly inserted behind the sheetrock. You might find a few on a long wall if you're lucky. There are no overhead lights in the bedrooms. Annoying!

I can't wait until my lease is up. I'm going to Abberly Green in Mooresville. I have a couple friends there and they love it. Newer, nicer, and quieter.

Im soory you are not HAPPY at One Norman! However we do have MANY residents who LOVE living here.Maybe you should let management know if you are having issues with noise.Im sure they will promptly take care of it!

I agree with you. I am a teen living there and even I think it is much too noisy! The school kids there are rude and I have countlessly seen fights and kids arguing and the people that live there can be so rude. Half of them can't even drive! Also the people with animals really need to learn how to pick up after them. The staff however is great!
