My roomate and I are disturbed by the comments left. After referring a friend to the complex and her reading the comments, we were unsure that we were reading about the same Riverwalk Apartments! We live next door to the manager (a.k.a.-Gary) and have had no experiences like the ones mentioned in the comments below. The office staff was very friendly (even showing us around the complex 3-4 times while we were making our decision on where to move) and have continued to be helpful since we moved in. Gary has gone out of his way to make us feel welcome, safe, and a part of the community here. As for the dryer vents...Gary can't help whether your neighbor empties their lent catcher on the dryer or not, which causes the lint to fall out of the vent outside. Several letters have been sent out addressing this issue. Gary can also not help where other residents dogs choose to pop a squat, and I will add that the rules are enforced with pets. Gary can't make your neighbors walk softer (so not to hear them walking upstairs). The office staff plans and prepares very organized and "yummy" socials throughout the year. I have lived in several apartments and perhaps if you are looking for solidarity, you should choose a house, in the country, where you won't hear anybody else. Job well done Riverwalk staff!
