A win-no win situation

I lived at this location for 3 years and noticed it going downhill when the original manager left. (Bonnie) She was great but after she left the maintenance guy moved up into the manager spot. Not sure how you go from the bottom to the top like that in one promotion but needless to say it went downhill from then on. I kept to myself and hardly ever did I call maintenance to fix anything. Thankfully while I was there nothing ever broke. I noticed cigarette butts everywhere and mostly my patio since it was a ground floor. Thank GOD I didnt have anything on my patio to catch fire.
I always like to laugh at the "newsletter" that would come out telling us all to not keep grills on the patio because it was a fire hazard yet Gary had one on his patio and smoked on his patio as well. Now how is that not a fire hazard'' You shouldnt be allowed to smoke near the apts at all if you ask me. No one wants ashes from the above aparments wafting down on to them or landing all over their stuff.
And noisy neighbors!!! OMG the apt above mine was like a rotating door. People would move in and then back out months later but not before they trampled across the floor at 11pm or decided to play beer pong on their patio which was right over where I sleep...and would play drinking games at 1 or 2am!!! Or have parties during the weeknights at 1 or 2am. The place was trashy. I would find trash laying around on the grounds not to mention one day I saw a pair of red gym shorts laying in the breezeway...they laid there for days. then on another occassion an actual pair of underwear laid out on the sidewalk for days and days! disgusting!
I never went to the pool this summer because of all the drunkeness and trash that hung around it. I would have never taken my kid there! The only positive thing I can say is that I liked the location right there at the intersection. You could get to Huntersville or Charlotte or Lincolnton in no time! And it was so close to grocery store and food. Other than that...NO THANKS!! So glad I dont live there anymore! Oh and they kept going up on the rent and then started doing mandatory renters insurance which they should have implemented a long time ago given the fact that people dont care where they flick their cig butts around!!! I can go on but there is not enough time. so that is why its a win no win place to live...you win because of the convenience but you lose with everything else!
