The construction going on just feet from my bedroom window makes this place like living in Times Square. Also, we frequently have power outages (without notice) due to the construction. TCRS was very stealthy to structure the deal so that it will be very tough to sue them...they brought in a new office staff last year that had "no knowledge" of the pending construction when we re-signed our leases. Apparently, the last staff did know about it. Also, the new property being built is a subsidiary of this company, so we can't easily sue them or break our leases.
Would you want to live in a "luxury" apartment community that treated you this way' They have provided no sympathy or solutions. We were all basically screwed. Sure, come to Alexan Place and pay $1,000. a month to live next to a constantly beeping bulldozer and crashes that make your windows shake. I can't wait for the hammering to begin. Even once the construction is over in a year or two, this whole debacle shows that you can't trust this company or complex...who knows what will happen next.
