I have lived at Alexan Place for over a year and a half now. I have had no problems whatsoever with crime. The construction was a little nosiy, but it is pretty much over now. The grounds are kept very nice, parking is pretty good, maitenance is excellent and the pool and fitness center are the best parts. The office staff is pretty good as well.
