I lived here for almost four years, and the place has definately gone downhill since the original office/maintenance staff left. They are very slow to respond or never respond at all. My carpet started coming apart at the seams and they never fixed it. And they charged me for new carpet when I left. I'm not sure what the average lifetime of bargain basement carpet is, but after living there for four years, I'm pretty sure they should have paid for new carpet themselves. I did have pets, but still. Also, the windows are very poor and caused me to have a large heating bill. Water leaked in around the seams and during the winter, it grew mold because the inside/outside temperature difference caused condensation. When I complained, I was told to keep the blinds up so the moisture didn't get trapped. Um... yeah. I think the blinds were the only thing keeping the cold out! I now pay less to heat my entire 1300 sq ft house.

Why did I stay' Because the office and maintenance staff that were they for the first three years made the difference. They were pleasant, responded quickly. The staff when I left last year were horrible! Also, the location is good, I never felt unsafe or had my car broken into. And I really miss the pool area! It is very nice and was always kept immaculate.

The large number of grad students who live there treat the place like a dorm. I can't count the number of times drunk students were making huge amounts of noise outside my bedroom window, in the breezeway, and in front of the buildings in the wee hours. But I guess if you like that kind of atmosphere, this one is a plus.

And the earlier poster who mentioned hearing people pee and dresser drawers closing' Yep. Same for me.

Overall, it's not bad for the money but know that you will probably have some issues.
