I have recently moved to the Durham area and I researched apartments and had the chance to visit a few. I have lived in apartments from California to Virginia, so I can say I am a experienced apartment dweller. I chose Alexan Place for the location, the available apartment and the price. I pay my rent the 1st of the month, call in a work request as I need, stop in the office to pick up a package, go to the mail station etc.. otherwords "live my private life" these reviews that complain on "how they are treated" are just silly. Do you write a review when you get poor customer service at a Bank, or have to wait a extra long time at the Doctor's office, or hey, lets write complaints about the weather or about traffic.'. Blaming others for your error in decisions, planning or mistakes is plan wrong. Face it, bad things can happen to good people. Rules are rule and they are for everyone. Just because I pay my rent on time and I do not make noise to bother my neighbors is not a "get out of jail free card" so I can gripe about how horrible the CHOICE I made in my living arrangements. Apartment living is a GIVE and TAKE..so get over it. Not everywhere is perfect nor is ANYONE perfect. There will be problems, there will be disappointment, there will be conflict IF you allow it to effect you ..then go buy a house, face some real problems. If your PERFECT then lay blame on other's if your NORMAL..deal with it. Be an adult, otherwise your just silly
