I do not have nearly as many positive comments as the previous reviewers, and I think many residents would agree with me. I've only lived here for a little less than a year, and I'm counting down the days until my lease is up. This is the most depressing living situation I've ever encountered. The apartments are extremely dark, and many of my guests have commented on the 'dungeon' atmosphere. I am absolutely sick of not being able to open my window blinds without all my neighbors being able to see into my aparment on their way in or out of their apartments because of the ludicrously designed walkways in front of them. The carpet is disgusting, I'm betting it's never been changed since I've lived here. A weird orange substance leaks out of the porcelain in my sink and gets all over the countertop in the bathroom. And forget having a hot shower if the temperature outside is anywhere under 70. It's ridiculous. My bedroom was thoughtfully designed so as to be aligned next to my neighbor's bathroom, and everytime she flushes her toilet, I am awakened to sounds that are similar to an airport terminal. The closets were designed by someone on crack: the shelves are made out of WOOD. Come on TICON, ease up on the purse strings a little. Then in your lease it states that you can't put any heavy objects on them or they will break. Yeah, that's great especially since the ONLY closets in the whole place are the freaking bedroom. That's right, my vacuum cleaner is shoved up against the rest of my clothes and books and records due to a complete lack of storage here. I also have the joy of living next to loudest dog in the world, which barks all day and night. The concession I got to live here is not worth hearing every move made by my neighbors, including all the their trips to the toilet. So, if you never want to sleep and don't mind the hundreds of moths that will enter your apartment EVERY time you open your front door, give this place a try.
