they do NOT remove and replace carpets!!! if you believe that then please come over and see my apartment! i asked them before i moved in if there was anyway i could even PAY to have my carpet replaced and they said no.
let me just comment on the construction going on right now. they are replacing the rotton siding from the sides of the apartments, INCLUDING THOSE AROUND YOUR WINDOWS!it has been going on for two weeks with no end sight in future. imagine jack hammers right in your living room and that's what it sounds like here from 8 am (yes, it will wake you up if you aren't yet) until 4:30. you also get graced with mexican music blaring from boom boxes during this period. this was supposed to be my week's vacation from work to get things done and i can't even hear myself think.
big point: HAVE YOU SEEN ANY LOCAL APARTMENTS THAT ARE SO DILAPIDATED THEY HAVE TO HAVE THE EXTERIOR WALLS COMPLETELY GUTTED' WELCOME TO AUDUBON.
bigger point: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY HERE. DON'T MOVE HERE!!! no one in my building is renewing.
