I have lived here for two years and I must say that the quality of tenants has plummeted. They let anyone and everyone live here. My building once was inhabited by friendly people who I felt safe around, but because the office is so desperate to lease these units, I am now surrounded by thug life and no longer feel safe. Rap music blares from open windows and I smell marijuana from these open windows almost daily. all their 'friends' then pile in at night. These thugs also are now hanging out in their cars at night, drinking, playing loud music, and smoking God knows what. It makes me feel very UNsafe to return home alone at night and have these individuals staring at me from their dark cars with liquor bottles in hand.
The bottom line is that they are giving these apartments away to anyone, so there is a reason for the low prices! Beware! Durham is full of crime, but there are safer areas than this. Go somewhere else!
