It wasn't bad. This was my first apartment, so it was fine for awhile. Now, after looking at other places, I realize how ridiculously small this apartment is, and there is a SEVERE lack of storage space. I have these 2 tiny little closets with 2 shelves. Every other place I've been, you could fit a bed in the closet! Not enough cabinet space in the kitchen either.
As far as noise, I never really had a problem, which was good since I sleep during the day.
Maintainance and office staff was fine.
It does look a little "shady" sometimes. There's a guy that lives below me that's always out on the front balcony late at night cuttin' up with his friends. He's LOUD too. I'd hate to live in the apartment next to him.
I felt a little unsafe at times. There's a sex offender that lives on Audubon Lake Dr. And some people hang out in the parking lot sometimes.
It's not the best, but it's defintiely not the worst place in Durham.
I'm moving out when my lease is up.
