Best landscaping, good overall.

Years at this apartment: 1996 - 2000
 
As one of the older complexes in Durham, Beech Lake has more space between apartments, more trees, more green. Apartments are generally well built, quiet, well maintained. Sore spots: security in the complex (rashes of car theft, gunpoint robberies) that management has been very slow to address, no enforcement of pool hours (gets noisy). Management has turned over 2-3 times in past 2 years.
