I live in a Beech Lake 1BR and really like it.
It's quiet and close to Duke. The grounds are well cared for and I have had zero bug problems (maintenance sprays periodically). I've found the office staff to be courteous and helpful, and no, I don't work here. When I moved in my apartment have new carpeting and flooring in the kitchen. There is a lot of space for a one bedroom, including patio storage, front closet, pantry, linen closet and very large bedroom closet. Also, there is a grocery store/plaza within walking distance.
