Cons:
-Bugs, mainly roaches
-AC broke multiple times
-Windows are the cheapest draftiest windows money can buy
-stained bathroom floors, wallpaper missing, paint chips missing from walls, very cheap materials & careless construction.
-the hallways/stairwells were cleaned once in the last year and a half
-Residents 'bumping' music, staff does nothing to stop them (after multiple complaints)
-when my neighbor gets high, the weed smoke stinks up my apartment
-when you complain to the staff, they DO act concerned and helpful, but nothing substantial is ever done
-when I renewed my lease, they increased my rent by almost $100 per month. It was actually more, but I was able to haggle down the price due to all the problems and my unanswered complaints.
-The AIMCO service promise is a lie. They tell you that if maintenance does not address your concerns within 24 hours you get a rebate on your rent. Well... It took 3 requests (one of which was to the community manager himself) to get them to fix a few problems I had, but they merely ignored my voicemails and calls when I tried to find out about my rebate.
-You risk you life leaving any of the entrances (other than the main entrance) due to the fast moving traffic and low visibility. One day someone will get seriously hurt and AIMCO will be sued bad.

Pros:
-Good location
-Nice grounds
-Ample parking
-Just replaced fridge, stove, & dishwasher
-Beautiful demo apartment (but don't expect your apartment to look anywhere near as nice)
