Do not waste your time there are much nicer and more affordable places to choose other than Beech Break. Beech Lake is supposed to be a gated community but the gates have long been removed and many neighbors including myself have had their cars and homes vandalized and burglarized. A DOUBLE MURDER WAS COMMITTED WITHIN THE BEECH LAKE COMMUNITY THIS YEAR. Paying as much as we do for these 20 year old apartments they could atleast hire a security guard and fully renovate the apartment rather than just upgrading the fridge and the oven. The bathroom and kitchen counters,shelves etc. are very old, Durham County Jail facilities are probably better, they don't have shower heads,they're more like faucets,probably have been there since the place was built in the 80's. Closets are old as well, it's hard to pull them open without them falling off the hinges. The best service they have is the trash service,if you're lazy lol oh and the pool and lake are nice. Management is sneaky and maintenance are a bunch of drug addicts. Please beware. If you have no other alternative make sure that you inspect your apartment well BEFORE you move in. Please don't just go by the model, you may be very disappointed. Please REVIEW YOUR LEASE CAREFULLY before signing anything.I hope that this finds you before you sign a lease at Beech Lake.
