these units are fairly new, so they've got that going for them. however, the design and structure of the apartments are questionable. there isn't much insulation, if any, in the common walls, so you can easily hear your neighbors on all sides of the apartment. the unit designs are very small and cramped. shelf/cabinet/storage space is non-existent, so you'll find yourself becoming more and more familiar with your lap. the common area's and breezeways are dirty and dingy, so a power-wash would be great :0)

okay, now on to the tenants. some leave cups, bottles, cans, fast food bags, cigarette butts and spit all over the property. occassionally, some will leave their garbage outside of their door until it's more convenient for them to dispose of it properly. some are loud and profane. you can hear them talking and swearing on their cellphones in the breezeways. you can also hear some swearing or arguing inside their apartments as well. you can hear some slamming doors and cabinets doors/drawers and maybe dropping or kicking stuff around. some of the sounds literally shake the building, which is very disturbing and alarming, be it day or the middle of the night. i guess some just don't understand that you don't have to slam or kick doors/drawers/cabinets to close them. some are entering and exiting their apartments, back and forth, continuously throughout the night. others can't curb their disturbances in the parking lot, as i imagine they've paid extra for bionic batteries, extraterrestrial lighting systems, exotic exhausts and earth shattering chrome n' bass kits. some disregard the parking lines and park inappropriately b/c some will disregard your vehicle by denting and scratching the doors while entering or exiting their vehicle. some allow their dogs to roam free and will also allow their dogs to "eliminate" [number 2's] on the sidewalks, stairs, and building entrance lawn.

i've come to the exhausting conclusion that, you have to be it to live it, so until then, if you haven't already, find the discipline to become punctual, quiet, clean, organized, courteous, observant, independent, responsible, neighborly and healthy. you do that, and you'll bypass the " bent up ridges " of the world.

note: the cops have responded to a couple of disturbances. also, there isn't a leasing office on-site, so i guess some could care less how they behave b/c there isn't anyone there to enforce the lease.
