Like the song says, you can check out anytime you like but you can never (really)leave. Perhaps its a trend these days with large managed properties that instead of contacting you directly to pay your last water bill (which doesn't come directly to you, the last bill goes to Bridges at Southpoint)they send it to a collection agency. Odd considering its been over two months since I moved out and they had both a new home phone number and forward address for me. I would have happily paid the $20 or so (as I expected to) once I got the final bill from them, yet they didn't have the time to call me or send me a letter. The first I heard of it was from a collection agency. So much for my 775 credit score even when I pay it, will still show up.
This is an example of how this place is now run, ever since BNP took it over. If you are familiar with the Villages, a dump over in Carborro/C.H. you'll know what I mean. This place is on the way down. Glad I moved out but hey, at Bridges of Southpoint, you can never really leave (unscathed).
