OK, several things I have read I agree with and others I COMPLETLY disagrre with.
Yes when the plumbing was getting done it was a pain but it was an upgrade. These apartments had very old plumbing and I have seen my water bill decrease. I know they have placed a devise on my Hot Water heater and that is fine with me. IT is a REGULATION they have to follow and a safety issue. If people would have left the hot water heaters alone they wouldn't have had to do this.
I live in a second floor apartment, I have NEVER seen any bugs in this apartment. I am always walking around and I only see the normal things like ants and stuff..
I was aware there was a break-in to a residents car, THANKFULLY the managemtn team sent something out. Not only did they post it at the mailboxes but they put something on EVERY RESIDNETS door.
Renters insurance, well everyone should have it.... There is nothing worse than losing everything and not having it. Trust me I know. It costs about $100 a year, a great investment in case something happens.
Maintenance is GREAT... They are very experienced, they know what they are doing and have always fixed my stuff IMMEDIATELY, even if I mention it in the parking lot as they are driving by for lunch. They are very curtious and although the appliances are old, this community still has a budget to stay in line with... They are making repairs as avaialble to all apartments.
Old Buildings... Yeah thats it's character, I moved here because the buildings are older, they have already adjusted, the floor plans are more spacious and the windows are great.
DO NOT get me wrong I have had my issues and been very upset about a few things but "it happens".
I am a single woman and I must say the lights are always on.. This place is lite up every night, the lights usually come on before dark and are still on in the early AM when I get up for work.
