Was Looking to Relocate...

I visited Bridges last fall... around October 2007. I was looking to relocate to NC from DC... tired of the traffic and the people. Anyway, although I still have not made my move,I had a very pleasant visit. Milton was the leasing associate who assisted me, both prior to and upon my arrival. He was like a guardian angel. He even went so far as to assist me with understanding the school system and its programs for special needs children prior to me and my son driving down for a visit. He spent at least 45 minutes showing the property to me and my son. He was also extremely patient with all of my questions and my particularly affectionate son. :-)
I was definitely impressed by the apartment shown to me and still keep this property in mind for a place I may want to move into when I finally relocate.
Milton and the other associate I spoke with (Lauren, I think.) are the reason I am so ready to relocate to where my father's side of the family is from. They are "southern hospitality" at it's finest!! Kudos to the staff at Bridges!!
In addition,I hope the bad reviews are rare because it would be a shame since the staff is so wonderful. And regarding the GIANT COCKROACHES... not that I'd want to live with any sort of GIANT BUG or any other kind of uninvited/unwanted critter (I am a city girl at heart), but it seems to me that by the complex being surrounded by woods, that you would almost expect to have some unusual "4 or more legged" intruders once in a blue moon. Get some spray and bombs and keep it moving! At least they're not mice or rats! That's all I see now in reviews for DC apartments! YUCK!
