I came out to Durham apartment-hunting and as I walked into the leasing office I saw the agent assisting someone in his office. We made eye contact and I proceeded to sit down to wait. I saw the person leave his office and stood up near the agent's door and we made eye contact again, but he didn't come out yet. Figuring he was busy at the moment, and was about to come out, I patiently waited outside his door. Then I hear him start SCREAMING at me "What do you want''!! Don't just stand outside my door, how am I supposed to know what you're waiting for''!!" with the worst attitude ever. I said to him calmly "When someone is standing outside your office looking at you, it's obvious they want to talk to you." I came into his office and started to explain that I was looking for an apartment, and he CONTINUED to scold me with a very bad attitude saying "NO IT'S NOT OBVIOUS if you're outside looking at me. I don't know what you want." I tried talking about the apartment again, and he kept yelling at me and scolding me. Right then I told him to forget it and got up and walked out. He didn't even care, and kept screaming at me as I walked out. I would NEVER even consider living in apartments where management has a terrible attitude from the very beginning.
Besides, these apartments are physically (from what I saw on the outside) in a very bad state of disrepair. I saw several apartments with tarps up over their windows to keep the water out.
DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER VISITING!!!!!
