Terrible management

I was looking forward to moving into this complex as it is in a decent part of town, is relatively new, boasts a gate, pool, fitness center, jacuzzi among other perks. So far, the experience has been mixed. While the community has all these things, they're never quite what you'd expect. Although the community is "new", it was built from cheap materials that always seem to be leaking, crumbling, rusting or breaking down. They have made efforts to keep things maintained such as repaving the roads although the roads are the least of the issues. Take the "gate" for example that rarely ever works. In fact, with the number of car break-ins that occur at Copper Mill, you might as well leave your doors open for the thieves to take what they want.
The maintenance crew is generally nice and responsive. It's the administration that really brings this place down. The ladies who work there are pleasant but they are ultimately not working on your behalf. It seems their mission is to know about all those little things you can get charged for once you've signed the lease and then to charge you for them every chance they get. No warning, no friendly reminder. Just a bill for something you didn't even know existed. Thank goodness my lease is expiring. Can't wait to move somewhere where you can feel a little more secure and where people aren't looking to rob you blind with the small print on the lease.
