I lived at the deerfield for a year during undergrad and loved my experience. The screened in porch was wonderful, and we never had any problems with maintenance. The area is great, and it was easy to live near friends. There were noisy birds that lived in the bamboo, but they were only bad at certain times in the year, and they were easy to get used to. My one complaint would be that the walls are thin, and it is hard to sleep in the master bedroom while a tv is on.
